Last week, we held a career training day at the ‘Lamerhav’ House in Beer Sheva, as part of the staff’s annual learning program. We learned about current trends in the young adults’ employment market, and how to work with young adults on finding their strengths and abilities. We also held a discussion about the work and career needs of Lamerhav’s young adults.
We would like to thank the staff who took part in this day, to David Avraham, the Employment Coordinator at the Lamerhav House, to the team of the “Working Together” initiative, that helped us with planning the day, to Orna from “Be-Atzmi” (on my own) organization, who gave an in-depth and moving workshop, and last but not least, to Avi Avraham, our dedicated and beloved cook.
