Last week Lamerhav hosted over 100 guests for a meetup to launch the “Working Together” initiative. The event was attended by members of the initiative’s partner organizations, where we presented to them the wide variety and large number of activities and services available for young adults in southern Israel in the field of employment. At this event we began our journey together to realize the vision of “Working Together” and to create continuity of service offerings that will ensure the best possible integration of the area’s young adults into a variety of employment opportunities. Also presented were the work product of the mapping performed by EretzIr (the integration body for “Working Together”), a presentation on young adults and employment by Professor Gali Cinamon, a panel with a Lamerhav participant and an employer, and roundtables for discussing the requirements of partner organizations and the initiative’s partnerships.
It was a productive event and helped in advancing the initiative’s goals!
